QNT Light Digest Whey Protein
Just when I thought I would give up on whey supplements because each and every supplement has artificial sweeteners in it, I have discovered a new (neutral flavor) whey protein from QNT called Light Digest Whey.
This Whey Protein comes in several flavors, but I was only interested in neutral (unflavored) one.
Here’s what QNT says about this product:
LIGHT DIGEST TM WHEY PROTEIN is a new generation of protein, extremely light, which can be used in
any program for muscle tone and maintenance, weight loss, recovery,… It mixes with water or milk
easily and is highly digestible thanks to inulin fibers and whey isolate. Gluten free.
A **Neutral** version consists of Whey protein concentrate, Whey protein isolate, inulin, thickening agents: E412/E415, potassium chloride, ***flavour***. – Not sure what this flavor means in neutral taste product…
This product contains no Soy.
So far I am satisfied with this product. It doesn’t get me bloated, its texture and solubility are great, although the taste is not so neutral as it is the case with other unflavored products I have tried.
This one actually smells pretty good and tastes a bit like caramel, but if this is a neutral product I wonder what they have added, but not specified on the product label.
I can only presume that they have added the Coconut sugar in it as it gives you a sweet caramel like flavor.
Serving size of one heaping scoop contains 15,5 g of Protein and you shouldn’t take more than two servings per day. That’s about 7 grams lower than what you get in QNT’s Delicious Whey Protein.
